Care and Maintenance
To delay tarnishing, keep jewelry away from moisture, steam, excessive heat and chemicals (soaps, perfumes, deodorants and cosmetic lotions). Always apply lotions and sprays prior to putting on jewelry.
Jewelry should be removed when exercising, swimming and showering.
Store jewelry separately to avoid scratching or chipping in a safe dry place.
Over time brass will develop an aged patina look. To restore color and shine, clean with a soft cloth and/or a brass cleaning agent.
For a normal clean, wash bronze in warm water and soap, using a soft cloth to gently rub the dirt and grime off the piece. Make sure to rinse the soap off thoroughly before wiping and storing the bronze jewelry carefully.
Using a jewelry cleaning cloth to wipe the items after wearing will minimize tarnish.
Lightly rub jewelry with a soft 100% cotton cloth or special sterling silver cleaning cloth.
GOLD, GOLD VERMEIL, GOLD PLATED & GOLD FILLED
Clean with mild detergent and a soft cloth. Rinse and dry thoroughly with a soft polishing cloth.
Clean in mild dishwashing liquid in warm water, wipe and dry with a soft cloth.
RHODIUM PLATED SILVER
Clean with warm water and a mild liquid soap. Rinse and dry immediately with soft cloth.
Clean in mild soapy water. Gently wipe the silver with soft cloth, taking care not to scrub the oxidization off of your jewelry.
Wipe pearls off with a wet or dry soft cloth to prevent dirt and perspiration from accumulating. Dry with soft cloth.
SEMI PRECIOUS STONES
Clean with a soft cloth in warm water with mild detergent. Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
Apply a spray-on fabric protector, before wearing for the first time, so that the jewelry piece can be easily wiped clean as needed with a soft lightly dampened cloth. Clean ear wires with soft polishing cloth.
Store in a safe, dry place, being careful not to place anything on top of it as this may distort its shape. If crochet jewelery piece should get out of shape, gently reshape the piece with your fingers.
Please note that there may be slight colour and grain variations from bag to bag. Unwashed or dark denim may rub off onto the lighter coloured materials.
Never leave your bag lying in the sun or exposed to the elements.
Wipe with a soft damp - not wet - white cloth. Use a specialized leather bag cleaner for stubborn marks or dirt. Be aware that this may discolor leather, so test an inconspicuous spot first. Consider consulting a professional leather goods repair if necessary.
Store in a cool, dry place with good air ventilation.
The transfer of leather dye onto light coloured fabrics is possible.
Wipe bag with soft damp - not wet - white cloth. Wipe gently and in the direction of the bag’s weave. Dry in a well-ventilated area.
